African Drumming 101 (November 9, 2019) It was a great day teaching African Drumming. KUKU a celebration rhythm played when the women came back from fishing. There were 14 people..all ages all abilities....the youngest was under 1yrs to some over children at heart age!!!

DISCOVERING OUR OWN BACKYARD!!

June 24, 1:30pm – Botanical Eco-Adventure! Hosted by Jack Wilkinson, learn more about the Broad plant diversity in Pine Creek Park.

We will meet at the Historical Museum at 1:30 and carpool to Pine Cree (there’s an additional $10/car fee at the Park, so we will take as few cars as possible).

Jack will teach us about the plants around the park and take us on a tour.

Pre-register by June 23 Pre-register (required) at the Historical Museum (302 Redcoat Dr.) or call 295-3375.

Fee for each event (unless otherwise stated): $5/person Family’s $15 Children under 12 free.

Dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear, bring water, bug spray and sun protection.
