PLEASE READ BEFORE SUBMITTING PHOTOS:

Photos for the 2017 contest must relate to one of two themes:

1. The Frenchman River
2. Our Western Heritage (i.e. farming, ranching, equestrienne, brandings etc.)

Photos must:

1. Be in a digital format (.jpeg, .tiff or .pdf)
2. Have been taken in Eastend or in the surrounding area
3. Be original work
4. Be less than 5MB in size (per photo).

High-quality scans of photos will also be accepted. No photoshopped images, please.

To submit your photo(s) in person:

1. Save your digital photograph in the following format: Yourname_photodescription (i.e. ‘janedoe_sunset.jpeg’, ‘johnbrown_swallows.tiff’, ‘marysmith_oldbarn.pdf’ etc.)
2. Bring your photos on a CD or USB key to the Historical Museum. Ensure your name is clearly marked on your CD or USB key.
3. Fill out a Photo Contest Entry Form. Indicate which theme you are submitting to.
4. Drop your entry and the form into the Photo Contest box at the Eastend Historical Museum.

To submit your photo(s) via email:

1. Label your photograph as described in #1 above.
2. Complete a Photo Contest Entry Form. Hardcopies of entry form can also be found at the Historical Museum. Print, complete, sign and scan the form, or complete it on your computer.
3. Save your Entry Form in the following format: ‘Entry Form_yourname.doc’ (i.e. ‘Entry Form_janedoe.doc’). Indicate which theme you are submitting to.
4. Email your photos and the entry form to the following address viewsofeastend@gmail.com. Use the subject line ‘Eastend Shutterbug Entry’. All entries received by email MUST include a signed entry form.
